The Information and Resource Centre of Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was established by Presidential Decree No.381 of 20 June 2006.
In the 20th edition of the ‘Road Map’ on transformation and integrated development of Samarkand State Architecture and Construction University named after Mirzo Ulugbek, approved by Annex 2 to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PQ-416 dated November 8, 2022 in paragraph. ‘Provision of the educational and research process with modern textbooks, teaching aids and literature, as well as scientific publications, educational and methodological, scientific and methodological aids, modern electronic materials for students. There are 400,100 books and 121,477 titles in the total collection. 128,509 electronic literature is placed on the electronic platform.
Digitisation of the SamDAQU Information and Resource Centre. The literature available in the ARM collection is regularly converted into electronic form. ARM currently has 121,585 literature titles available on a fully electronic platform. ARM is equipped with 10 modern computers and provided with ARM Wi-Fi zones. There are 3 scanners Canon image-age Class MF3010 (3 in 1) and recently introduced scanner Plan-earny (knijniy) czur et 16 Plus 4 and 1 scanner CZURET 18 Plus, a total of 5 new scanners. Students can access the Telegram channel ‘t.me/bilimlarolamii’ and use academic and fiction literature, and can receive any study materials available in the student residence and remotely, via the Internet. Through the platform https://unilibrary.uz, teachers and students can obtain the necessary materials.
There are 4 classrooms with 56 seats for students. In addition, student dormitory No. 1 has 1 study hall for 14 places, student dormitory No. 2 has a study room for 12 places, student dormitory No. 4 has a study room for 12 places.
The Information Resource Centre of the University was created for connection to foreign modern electronic databases and free access of students and teachers. The following modern information library https://unilibrary.uz.platformasi, as well as sites such as https://arm.samdaqi.edu.uz/backend/, Scopus.com, Web of Science provide fast and quality information and library services for users. The Sciencedirect website serves as a database for full use by professors, teachers, researchers, doctoral students, masters and undergraduate students.
In order to implement paragraph 10 of Presidential Decree -416 of 8 November 2022 ‘On measures to further improve the system of training in the field of architecture and construction’, an ‘Incubation Centre’ was established at the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction and certificate No. 829211 was received on 13 April 2023.
The charter of the ‘Incubation Centre’ was duly developed and approved, and the premises allocated for the ‘Incubation Centre’, ‘Co-working Centre’, ‘Startup Centre’ located in the main building of the University were equipped with the necessary equipment and consumables.
SamSACU provides the following opportunities by organising courses at the Incubation Centre:

5.During the course you will learn REVIT, AUTOCAD, ABC, LIRA-SAD, ARCGIS, 3DMAX programmes;

8.You will have the opportunity to get a job after mastering the theoretical and practical skills presented to you.
