SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH CENTERS IN SAMSACU

There are 19 departments operating in SamSACU. Under the departments, 5 scientific research centers and 1 limited-size society were established.

Scientific research centers treats of settlement planning and development on sustainable urban development through the harmonization of Education and research at the University: solving a complex of socio-economic, sanitary-hygienic, engineering-technical, architectural and artistic (aesthetic) tasks.

Carrying out comprehensive scientific and practical research in the field of technology for the production of new types of innovative building materials, objects, involving high-level students, undergraduates, doctoral students, independent researchers and professors

The center is a teacher and producer of fine and applied art samples to Ialabas who are studying in the field of language teaching in their prescribed main direction, teaching Uzbek language to teachers from abroad, developing speech culture, teaching to work in the state language of construction and architecture

Carries out work on the legal protection of intellectual property objects of the university, including the preparation, formalization and submission of applications for the Patent and registration of intellectual property objects in the Republic of Uzbekistan and beyond

Scientific research centers are a scientific research organization that conducts scientific research, experimental work in the main scientific direction. Scientific research works at the scientific research center (ITM )should be directly connected with the solution and educational process of current scientific and creative problems in the economic sphere of the Republic

SCIENTIFIC IN SAMSACU RESEARCH CENTERS

•SamSACU professors and teachers published scientific articles in 2023 in collaboration with representatives of Kazakhstan, Turkey, Tajikistan and about 20 countries.


GOOD COOPERATION

SamSACU cooperates with the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and innovation, the Ministry of higher and secondary specialized education, the Erasmus Office of Uzbekistan, the Elsevier publishing company, the Marmara scientific center of TUBITAK, as well as 59 State unitary enterprises and project institutes in the construction of sustainable cities and societies.

 Special attention will be paid to the current topics of sustainable and ecological cities and societies, as well as climate changes, Water Resource Management and building materials by their professors at SamSACU.

 In order to improve the skills of professors and staff in SamSACU, in 2023, 59 teachers and staff were able to undergo scientific internships at international universities.

As of 2023, SamSACU has established cooperation with 44 international higher education institutions on the issues of training personnel, setting up various innovative projects, increasing the experience of professors and students in cooperation, further expanding international relations between universities, as well as introducing new Educational Directions in the areas of architecture and construction education.

The rector of the university Dr. Chidem Turkyilmaz, signed memorandums of understanding with the rectors of Istanbul Technical University, Ege University, USAK University, Artvin Choruh University, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, Hachettepe University, Trabzon University and Chanakkale Onsekiz Mart universities.

In the memorandum of understanding, it was agreed to establish cooperation between the parties on the basis of cooperation, including academic exchange of teachers and students, interaction-based supervision of Master’s and doctoral dissertation work, research programs and conferences.

SamSACU bilateral and multilateral meetings of higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Spain are held in Tashkent and Samarkand on April 24-27, 2023. In this regard, one of the main meetings of the Educational Forum on further strengthening international cooperation with the participation of the rectors of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Spain took place today at the Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State University of architecture and construction. Representatives from Higher education institutions in the cities of Samarkand and Jizzakh  took part. It discussed issues such as the establishment of various innovative projects between the parties, increasing the experience of professors and students in cooperation, further expansion of international relations between universities, as well as the introduction of new educational directions in the areas of architecture and construction education.

SamSACU participated in the “Global Sustainable Development” Congress in Bangkok, the capital of the Kingdom of Thailand.
This Congress was organised by the UK company The world Universities Insights Limited and the Thai Ministry of Higher Education, Science, development and innovation, aiming to bring together Higher Education, governments, industry and society for a sustainable future.
The issues expected to be discussed at the Congress are also significant in keeping with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs.

SamSACU Forum is aimed at studying current problems and innovative solutions that determine the future of Higher Education in Central Asia  There was also a workshop at Silk Road by Minyoun hotel, Samarkand dedicated to the training of personnel on transport infrastructure of the five states of China – Central Asia.At this seminar, memorandum of cooperation was signed between Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction and Shensi railway Vocational Technical College and Chang’an university.
