Approved by Appendix 2 of the Decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-416 dated November 8, 2022 “On measures to further improve the personnel training system in the field of architecture and construction”, the State of Samarkand named after Mirzo Ulugbek According to point 24.8 of the “Road Map” on the transformation and comprehensive development of the university of architecture and construction, the establishment of a scientific research center “Development of architecture and construction projects for persons with disabilities” at the university and the establishment of its activities given the assignment.
Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction carried out the following tasks in connection with the implementation of this task, including: In order to combine scientific research with practice in the field of “Development of architectural and construction projects for people with disabilities”, the university rector’s 2024 According to the order No. 218-u dated August 13, the scientific research center “Development of architectural and construction projects for persons with disabilities” was established; (Appendix 1, order of the rector) The Charter of the research center “Development of architectural and construction projects for persons with disabilities” was developed and approved in the prescribed manner; (Appendix 2, charter of the center) A work plan for 2024-2025 has been developed for establishing the activity of the center and attracting qualified specialists to it; In order to start the activity of the scientific research center “Development of architectural and construction projects for people with disabilities”, the necessary rooms were allocated in the building of the university, located on Lolazor street, Samarkand, and in the “Architecture” department. was equipped with equipment and the activity of the center was started

Abror Hayitboyev, Coordinator of the Youth Register and Patronage Programs of the Mirzo Ulugbek Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction, and Umida Nabiyeva, the Coordinator of the Youth Register and Patronage Programs of the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, Umida Nabiyeva, will present “Art-therapy”, i.e. visual psychotherapy, for children being treated in the hospital. drawing classes based on art and creative activities were held.
Together with the active members of the “Young Volunteers” club of the university, various games and drawing and painting classes were held for children. Young volunteers made their contribution to making the children’s day meaningful.
One of the main goals of SamSACU is to ensure that disabled people participate in programs and projects implemented worldwide on the basis of equal rights with other non-disabled people, that the interests and rights of disabled people are taken into account, and that laws and procedures that protect the dignity of disabled people are introduced in all countries, is to build a society that is open and friendly to all. Today’s events dedicated to the “International Day of Disabled Persons” by the Women’s Advisory Council of the University are also aimed at providing social assistance, material and moral support to disabled people, and creating opportunities for them to take their place in society. the works being carried out, the care shown by our Honorable President to the disabled, is a bright example of the active participation of the general public in these meritorious works

Persons with disabilities are exempted from the fee charged for participation in the tests.
In addition to the total number of applicants to higher education institutions, a two-percent state grant-based quota has been set aside for persons with disabilities.
Persons with disabilities (groups I and II) who scored not less than 30% of the highest possible score in the entrance exams will receive an additional two percent, strictly following the sequence of scores. is recommended to students within the state grant quotas.
For the 2020/21 academic year, 2799 additional state grants were allocated for persons with disabilities in the entrance exams.
Starting from the 2019/20 academic year, the procedure for allocating up to one percent of admission quotas based on state grants for orphans who are graduates of orphanages and children’s towns from the total number of applicants to HEIs has been introduced.
In 2023, SamSACU allocated free housing for 81 people with disabilities, as well as financial incentives in the amount of 3 times the basic stipend at the expense of the scholarship fund. Total amount: 125 million 844 thousand 840 soums
