Ending extreme poverty
Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 59 of January 31, 2020 “On measures to establish the amounts of scholarships paid to students of higher education institutions and to improve the procedure for the appointment and payment of scholarships, Ensuring the implementation of the tasks in the decision of the Ministry of higher and secondary special education dated February 8, 2020 No. 97 and the resolution “on the Organization of the council for the promotion of students at the Samarkand State University of architecture and construction and the material encouragement of students” established in the statement of the meeting No. 1 of the University Council on February 27, 2020, , on February 29, 2020, Order No. 151 “On the organization of the student Promotion Council and material incentives for students at the Samarkand State University of architecture and construction” was published in order to provide material incentives for students active in public affairs and in need of social protection, to more effectively establish activities in this direction.
1- Regulations on the student Promotion Council of Samarkand State University of architecture and construction with Annex 1 of Order 1;
2- “Organizational structure of the student Promotion Council of Samarkand State University of architecture and construction” with Annex 2;
3- “Samarkand State University of architecture and construction student Promotion Council structure” with Annex 3;
4- With Appendix 4, “The procedure for the material stimulation of students who master the subjects of the end of the academic semester at Samarkand State University of architecture and construction, are gifted, active in public affairs and need social protection”;
5- Application 5 “Questionnaire of a student seeking material incentives at Samarkand State University of architecture and construction”;
6- With Appendix 6, “Criteria for assessing the performance of a student applying for material incentives at the Samarkand State University of architecture and construction at the end of the academic semester” are approved.
During the 2nd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, the Samarkand State University of architecture and construction named after Mirzo Ulugbek provided material assistance to 46 students who are on the list in total underprivileged, fully orphan, iron notebook, women’s notebook and youth notebook based on the minutes of the 5th meeting of the Promotion Council of March 31, 2022
According to the minutes of the extraordinary meeting No. 6 of the incentive Council on August 10, 2022, financial assistance was provided to the fully orphan, student at Construction faculty, 102-CE and KICh Group Erkinjonov Behruz, who is studying under a payment contract at the University, in the amount of 1.700.000 (one million seven hundred thousand).
According to the stimulus Council’s statement No. 7 of 30 November 2022, 9 students who are fully underprivileged, fully orphans, foster parents, received a total of Rs 27,714,000 (twenty-seven million seven hundred fourteen thousand) from extra – budgetary funds, and on the occasion of December 3 – “International Day of persons with disabilities”, each of 65 students with disabilities studying at the university were financially encouraged.
